Why subscribe?

This is the new home for most of my writing. I publish the “Artificial Intimacy Newsletter” from here. I also publish articles and notes about how humans, with their evolved psychology and acquired culture are making their way in the technology-rich ecosystems brought on by AI, the Internet, robotics and the like.

I am not charging subscribers because I have a day job as Professor of Evolution at UNSW and I get paid to do that job. I am trying to build this Substack to be everything it can be. When I am a bit further down the track, and certain I can deliver value, I might make some content paid access.

You should still subscribe, though. That way you get full access to the newsletter and website.
